Magnet for Non-Continuous Production Processes

Goudsmit Magnetic Systems (Waalre, Holland) has developed a new type of magnet, meant as a final check before loading powdery and granular products. The magnet, for non-continuous production processes, extracts iron from these types of product and used in the past to be cleaned by hand. The new model, however, releases all the ferrous particles at the touch of a button. This, says Goudsmit, makes it possible to mount the Clean-Flow magnet in inaccessible places.

There are two grid magnets and a value of 8,000 Gauss is realised. The raw materials twice encounters a pair of strong magnets, resulting in a high de-ironing level and even enabling the separation of iron dust (defined here as 30 micron range).
