Association's KPI's Win Government Funding

The DETR has this week agreed to fund the second stage of the Construction Products Association's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), developed for construction manufacturers and suppliers.

John Tebbit, Industry Affairs Director, said "This is a demonstration of government recognition that KPIs developed with industry input are a valuable and practicable way forward for industry to improve performance. We look forward to developing realistic and workable KPIs with our members and other supply-chain partners".

The funding has been announced at an opportune time as ten of the Association's member companies are piloting the initial stage of eight KPIs. Key Performance Indicators will demonstrate the continuous improvement of the industry in areas such as the use of natural resources, end of life recycling, and health and safety on site. The project partners are:
  • Construction Products Association Members, ACO Technologies, Corus Group, CRH Forticrete, Decra Roofing Systems, Lafarge Plasterboard, Marley, Marshalls, Tarmac
  • M4I
  • TRADA Technology
  • BRE
