Jumo Tie-Up with CGE Announced
Instrumentation from Jumo Instrument Co Ltd (Harlow, Essex, England) is to form a major element of a new, catalogue-based service from Saflame, the spares and refurbishment division of kiln, dryer, furnace and foundry supplier Consultant Gas Engineers Ltd (Skelmersdale, Lancs, England).
Jumo has appointed Saflame as its exclusive distributor to the UK ceramics and metals industries. Saflame will be entitled to supply any of Jumo's thousands of control, monitoring and recording products, although it will focus initially on temperature controllers and chart recorders.
Saflame's parent company, CGE, has more than 30 years' experience in manufacturing and supplying capital plant and equipment such as large kilns to users and OEMs, as well as being an OEM itself. "CGE is a longstanding user of Jumo temperature controllers and recently we have been impressed by the company's commitment to its customers," commented Business Manager Colin Weston. "We are delighted that the Saflame product range will hinge on the Jumo range of instrumentation, which is exceptionally reliable and of a high quality."
