LB Technology for Brazilian Gyotoku

Gyotoku tile factory based in Suzano (State of São Paulo, Brazil) will make a new investment to increase its production in porcelain tiles and has chosen LB Officine Meccaniche SpA (Modena, Italy) as partner.

Gyotoku was set up in 1964 by the Gyotoku brothers and today is one of the major ceramic manufacturers in Brazil, confirming its will to strengthen its position in a market segment where it has been operating successfully since 2003, following its bent for innovation.

The start-up of a new technical and glazed porcelain tile manufacturing line is due at about this time. This new line involves the installation of the most modern equipment created by LB. In particular, a dry powder colouring system named EASY-COLOR will be installed; thanks to this highly productive system (13-15 t/h) Gyotoku technical staff will be able to handle coloured powders in an extremely flexible and economical way.

Then the press feeding system supplied by LB will be completed by the latest CROMA charger that will allow for the making of materials of highly technical and aesthetic value, using spray-dried powders and dry glazes. LB said that with this project it was thus reinforcing its own presence on the market where for a long time it has been operating beside the companies that mostly feel the need to establish and consolidate their presence on the international scene with high-quality products.
