ACerS-NIST Announce New Phase Equilibria Diagrams CD

The American Ceramic Society (ACerS) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) have announced the release of the ACerS-NIST Phase Equilibria Diagrams CD-ROM Database Version 3.0.

Phase diagrams are used throughout the ceramic industry to understand and control the complex phenomena which increasingly underlie advanced industrial production and materials performance. To service the need for reliable phase diagram data, ACerS and NIST jointly publish a series of critically evaluated collections of phase diagrams.

The CD Version 3.0 contains more than 19,000 diagrams previously published in 20 phase volumes produced as part of a variety of joint publications.

The diagram preview feature makes searching quick and easy. Search results are displayed on the same page and list the records returned. Search capabilities allow searches by: authors; system components; language of the original publication; year of the original publication of the diagram; phase equilibria diagrams series volume number; full bibliographic reference of the paper; and figure captions from diagrams published in phase equilibria diagrams volumes.
