New Screen Emulsion for Ceramic Tiles and Glass Printing

Fujifilm Sericol has announced the introduction of Dirasol Enduro, a new emulsion for screenprint applications that require supreme mechanical and abrasion resistance.

Dirasol Enduro has been specifically developed for use with the aggressive frit pastes typically used in the ceramic and glass printing industries. It is a blue, diazo-photopolymer emulsion with high solids and medium viscosity, which is said to make it ideal for use with a wide range of meshes - from coarse to fine.

According to the company, Enduro's unique chemistry has been proven to significantly increase screen life, enabling longer print runs between screen changes and leading to the dual benefits of reduced production downtime and increased manufacturing efficiencies.

Ceramic and glass printers using Dirasol Enduro have reported increases in run lengths of up to 25% compared to their previous emulsions.
