Mohr Corp Picks Up Royal Doulton Disposal Contract

Royal Doulton has contracted Mohr Corporation (Brighton, MI, USA) to provide the services to liquidate the entire main factory in Nile Street, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, England. This plant has been Royal Doulton's main manufacturing facility in the UK and its complete closure effectively brings to an end the company's volume bone china and giftware manufacturing in the UK.

To accomplish this liquidation sale project, Mohr Corporation is now performing the difficult task of inventory of such a large and modern facility.

This inventory includes the main manufacturing machinery and equipment including many kilns, isostatic and wet clay forming machines, slip casting process equipment, decorating and more machinery specifically related to the manufacture of ceramic products of high quality.

In addition, a substantial amount of general purpose manufacturing machinery and equipment - such as air compressors, electrical power supplies, tanks, agitators, all types of pumps, a complete electrical generating plant, material handling equipment, storage racking, maintenance equipment etc - is featured in this sale.

The originally announced schedule should see the principal assets in this liquidation being listed for distribution to industry - and posted on the Mohr website at www.mohrcorp.com - on or around 15 April 2005 followed by sale on individually negotiated basis (private treaty).
