CeramTec North America Facilities Certified

CeramTec North America (Laurens, SC, USA) has announced the recent successful recertification at both its USA based manufacturing sites. This includes ISO 9001:2000 international standard at the company's New Lebanon Operations (Ceramaseal Division) and ISO/QS-9000 at its Laurens Operations.

"These valued Certifications are one part of CeramTec North America's commitment to our customers," said Walt Dollman, President of CTNA. "I am pleased our operations continue to maintain these standards."

The company also indicated its plan to secure ISO 14000 and TS 16949 Certifications at its Laurens Operations by the end of 2004. "These are important upgrades to support our growing automotive product sector business," said Ken Hewlett, Automotive Product Sales Manager.

CTNA manufactures and distributes a wide range of ceramic products. Combined with other factories located in Europe and Asia, CeramTec products include piezoceramics, hermetically sealed electrical and optical components, tap control discs, pump parts, electronic and electrical application ceramics, substrates, nozzles, ceramic cutting tools and many others.
