Ceram India 2004 Exhibition

Expolog Ltd (Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffs, England) is working with the exhibition organiser Montgomery International Ltd (London, England) to produce a dedicated ceramics pavilion at Interbuild India, to be held in New Delhi from 23-25 September 2004.

In announcing the launch of Ceram India 2004, Expolog said: "The Indian Government has recently announced plans to release US$280 billion over 5 years specifically for new housing projects in India. This is bound to have an explosive effect on the Indian domestic ceramics industry and provides the perfect opportunity for Western companies to exploit this fast-growing market.

"The inaugural Interbuild India was held in 2002 and attracted over 4,500 visitors from India, SE Asia, UAE, South Africa and Europe. This year we expect over 6,000 visitors during the 3-day event."

As India's premier event in this sector, currently valued at US$16 billion, it will attract the cream of the industry including public and private developers, designers, manufacturers and government authorities. Key exhibitor categories are structural building and interiors. Structural building covers all aspects of heavy clay products and concrete, whilst interiors includes floor and wall tiles, sanitaryware and tableware.
