ACerS Announces 2004-2005 Officers
The American Ceramic Society (ACerS) board of directors has announced the election of its 2004-2005 officers. Their terms of office began at the close of the ACerS 106th Annual Meeting on 21 April 2004.
President is John Marra, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Defense Programs Division of the Westinghouse Savannah River Company.
Warren Wolf was elected President-Elect. He is retired from Owens Corning where he served as Vice President and Chief Scientist.
The Past-President is Kathryn Logan. Prior to her retirement in 2002, she was Principal Research Engineer in the School of Materials Science & Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology.
John Kaniuk will serve a two-year term as Treasurer. He is the President of Zircoa Inc.
John Hellmann Jr (Penn State University), Marina Pascucci (CeraNova Corp) and Robert Cook (University of Minnesota) were elected Directors to serve from now until 2007.
