The technology developed
includes a patented process for the direct production of electrodes from
the melt by a spray deposition process.

manufacturers, providing benefits of lower cost and higher throughput.
» Synthesis of high temperature-resistant alloys and
components, producing tailor-made structures for specific applications.
» Development of base metal catalysts with improved performance
through the application of rapid solidification processing. A patented
process for the production of activated nickel catalyst supported on a
foil substrate has been developed.
» Development of a spray pyrolysis coating process
to produce nano-structured metal oxide thin films for novel photovoltaic
devices. The process has been progressed from 1cm2 laboratory samples
to full size (5000cm2) panels and the chemistry improved to produce a
fourfold increase in performance.
