Thermal Conductivity of Building Materials or Low Temperature Thermal Conductivity
The Construction Products Directive (CPD), sustainability, zero carbon housing and rising energy costs, have all contributed towards the need to ensure that construction materials provide the required level of thermal performance.
This applies to both new and retrofit materials. We have combined our building materials expertise and knowledge of thermal properties, and now offer thermal conductivity of construction materials.
Tests are compatible with EN 12667, EN 12664 and ISO 8302, and where applicable, UKAS accredited to ISO17025. We test various materials, including: fibrous and solid wall insulation, flooring materials, concrete, bricks and wood, and can accommodate sample sizes up to 500mm2.
